dive computer quandry

I am in the market for a dive computer and am currently considering the Suunto Mosquito, Oceanic GEO, or the Mares Nemo, any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

I can only speak of the mosquito since that is the only one I've used. It's a ok avarage computer without anything fancy that works just fine in ordinary sportsdiving. It got nitrox and air and is possible to connect to a computer to download your diveprofile. It's quite conservative in P0 and you can make it even more conservativ in 2 more stages, something I like. I also like the fact that I can remove one strap and use it as a ordinary watch with possibilitis to have 2 timezoones.

I would by a UWATEC Digital Depth timer and a set of wetnotes. Then buy a decompression program for your desktop computer and customize your decompression. You can write down your tables and have better decompression overall.

You also end up learning alot more about deco that way.

A dive computer is programmed assuming we all have the same physiology, build, vascular health and we all feel the same on any given day.

This "may" lead to accidents as dive computers tend to lead to diver dependence and promote little benefit , in terms of education and questioning.

Again, this MHO.
