Any Divers in the Offshore Industry?

Hi all,

A friend of mine is a writer/journalist writing for a careers website in the offshore diving industry. She's doing some case studies on different roles within the industry (pipe fitting and other roles on oil/gas plants).

Yup I dive offshore. However I am not so sure I know what you are after . Please write very simply and slowly LOL!

She writes for a careers website in the offshore diving industry ....what, likediving personnel.com??? This is not the norm for gaining diving work.???

And is she looking for divers as well as pipe fitters to write about etc???and in which case why would they be on a diving personnel website??

Perhaps she is writing for an offshore personnel site and looking at diving!!

Righto, i'm as confused as all hell now! From what she told me I think she was writing profiles of diver's jobs on a diver's recruitment website. That's as far as I got.

But it's ok now, she emailed me a couple of days ago and said she'd been talking to a couple fo guys.

I only want to know which recruitment site/group/agency etc. is this??and where does it operate from/supply to???
There are very few at the moment it being such a close/d community relying what seems largely on word of mouth and I think I know of most of them but maybe someone has had a good new idea etc. divingpersonnel now seems the most likely candidate......am I right??
