You freedive also- The 'Oceanic Geo' and the 'EDY II' are nice. They also have the Scuba and Freediving Modes.

hi
the oceanic veo 100nx is good. the reasons are
1.easy to use 1 button does every thing
2.none of that fancy pc attachment stuff you can get on some models (more things to go wrong, in my view)
3.oceanic have lifetime warranty (the last i knew)
4. a relatively cheap compared to some

however the veo does not have free diving modes like the geo, and can only remember up to 12 dives before it gets rid of them
hope this helps

You what's REALLY easy to use? The Mares Nemo Wide. I tell you, I bought one for me Dad, but after using it, I don't want to give it back! Big display, ease of use. Big plus for me. It has a depth gauge which I use to record my freediving depth and time.
