Holiday Guernsey 2008

Lets get the ball rolling shall we - any one got a 2008 calendar?
Last year we settled for late July I am happy to aim for the same sort of time?
Here is the thread I started last year in case we have any new faces who want to see what it is all about.

I’m on me way mate.
I’ll be on the boat whenever the date is although late July would be good for me.

Great i will pm Andy to see if he can put up a tide table, probably best to have a midday low tide or early afternoon.

Hi foxfish

How late in july? i'd love to come over possibly with one or two more but i'm a teacher so it would have to be after the kids break up, around the 27th onwards

Would that be to allow the odd touch of alcohol to leave the system before a dive?
Or so we can all spend the morning practicing our breath hold techniques after we’ve done the 4-mile jog and 2 hour workout in the gym?

Can’t wait to come back over mate already really looking forward to it.

Re: Holiday Guernsey 2008.

Your wish is my command...

Start of August looks the best for July/August trip with low springs early to mid afternoon (is that long enough to sober up Podge??):

pdf files:
July 2008.pdf
August 2008.pdf

I'm off on a cruise for a week later in August (23rd to 30th I think) to Norway 5th wedding Anniversary pressie , but also have to take son , but also have the suite but I think I may well keep myself free from the dangling if we have some firm dates early on so I can at least try harder to get in the drink some more next year...

Re: Holiday Guernsey 2008.

Count me in Mart. End of July would be perfect for me so there is no chance of a clash with family holidays once the kids break up.

Can't wait. Better get that advance order in for Juan's Rocquett.

Re: Holiday Guernsey 2008.

Just on a short cruise: P&O Cruises Official Website | Oceana Cruise E820 - Essential Norway Summary But still Norway. Been there before and up to Spizbergen. Bit chilly for diving up there though!!

Re: Holiday Guernsey 2008.

when i went there was the option to dive with them in dry suits but i did not fancy spending £220.00 more and swimming in -4 water,
i was up a bit more north than where your going was fantastic thou
ORCA TYSFJORD - whale watching in Tysfjord, Norway. Whale safari, orca, killer whale, images, pictures have a look in latest news,
having a veiw like that every morning is bliss,

As for the spearo's trip is just a 1 day'er or do i need to bring a travel bag??
