I've started to go freediving a bit more seriously in Guernsey. Seems like the sport is dominated by guys. Are there any girls out there interested in the sea ? Come on - get involved !

There seems to be a few freediving girls in the UK. I've often thought I'd like to see more girls and women involved generally. I don't think there are any female spearos at all on the forum. Is it too macho? There seems to be more female surfers so maybe it'll catch on in time.
Lets hope so, eh. Congratulations on having your own hosted space Guernsey-great idea. I was on the forum around the time when the move took place and was quite surprised to suddenly find Ireland was on its own! Felt quite lonely for a while.

Well just trying to get some women involved... went a few times last year with Lenka and she was pretty happy with her first bass. Maybe we'll see other women take up this pasttime this year?

Mrs Sarnian has been known to come out once, unarmed, but had a bit of trouble with the freediving because of buoyancy problams for some reason!
