line release installation

this probably sounds retarded, but how do you get the line release to work with a neptonics (riffe style) mechanism?
Once the spear is engaged there doesnt seem to be any room for the sharp end to go in??

Re: line release installation

Hopefully Bill McIntyre will chime in here- he's a resident RIFFE genius.
If not, send him a PM.

Re: line release installation

the line release mech has to be in the rearward position when the spear is engaged. When it is engaged it is locked in the correct position and when the trigger is pulled it is released forward.
thanks
