Speargun Handle? Grip?

Hi, I am completely new to free diving and spearfishing but, thought I would like to build my own gun. I have seen lots of great guns here and lots of detailed explanations of various building approaches and I have learned a lot. However, I haven't seen any that give a detailed description or approach to carving the handle or grip. Though it may seem obvious to most, having no woodworking experience at all, I have no idea how to even start this part of the gun. I would be grateful for any and all suggestions, thoughts, wild guesses etc ... Sincerely, CaptainCanuck

Re: Speargun Handle? Grip?

Hi, Thanks, a really informative thread. Searched long and hard, don't know how that escaped me? Too much Jack Daniels I guess? Thanks again, I can take from there. CaptainCanuck
