Anyone know this gun?

Has anyone seen a spear gun like this one? I've just aquired this gun and would appreciate any information about it. It say France on one side of the handle and Artemis on the other side of the handle. Thanks

Hey, it looks a lot like a Beuchat Rascasse (it doesnt really seem like it is but it is the closest thing i know of)
http://www.beuchat.fr/catalogue/inde...cat=13&idp=130
My friends dad had one for a while, good gun, but only good for soup fish... (small fish that we put in a thing called Bouillabaisse.. )
It is a good gun for the beginner but if you want to seriously get into the sport I suggest that you invest in a new gun. Omer Excalibur 2000 is a great gun and it isnt that expensive either!

The gun has a rail formed into the barrel ,two slots for bands and is about 15 years old. I thought it might be a beuchat also but i i,m not sure. with a little rebuild it looks like it could be an ok gun .Any more info on this gun would be good. thanks Mark

If it has got a full rail in it it definatly isnt NOT a Beuchat, maybe some guy bought a Rascasse and puit a new barrel on it

Get a new wishbone the on you have has a tendancy to break very often... I used to use them and almost cut my hand off with it!

Sorry pablo, i dont have the recipe for that, pretty d@mn hard to make. I love bouillabaisse. Its a shame because it is so expensive to get at a restaurant minimum 50€

Ill see if i can find the recipe somewhere!
