Question beginners float system

is this worth anything?
24m of float line (2mm, 400lb)
20m of rope with 2 floats and a big 20l container at the end

Need some help; I'm going hunting with all this for the first time in a few days

Hiya

What are you going to be shooting??

Thats a serious peice of float line you got there!!!!

If you're hunting fish up to 15kg's, a 11ltr RA float with a 30m floatline is ample. If they fish have soft skins, look at fitting a 1m bungie between the float and float line.

If your intended quarry is 20kg-100kg mark, then you should look at a boogie board float or multiple foam injected floats. Possibly a norprene bungie and floatline. This is a whole different topic though!!

Just remember, those floats in the picture will implode if they get dragged under.

Regards
miles
