Hi there !
I'm a spearo from Quebec in Canada. I spearfish 2-3 times a week with my Aspic 75, 1 rubber band... I mostly go for 12-20'' bass, so no big monster. The aspic came with a nylon line to attach the arrow to the nuzle, but it broke rapidly. Then I changed to another one... it broke again. Maybe I should use something else, or another method of attaching... Right now it's attached to the tail of the arrow in the 2 small holes, it then goes around the nuzle and the release twice. When I fire, the arrow goes through the nuzle and the line follow behind. Thanks to help me, I almost lost my arrow today... David

With most Euro guns the line needs to be attached to the back of the shaft. First make sure that the holes dont have a rough edge. Once they are smooth run the line through the back hole and then through the front hole and tie a knot. If you still keep shredding line make sure that you have no sharp or rough edges on you gun, if that doesnt work replace it with larger line or use some mono.

bonjour. In this thread, started by a very expert spearo, you'll find good tips about your problem.
http://forums.deeperblue.net/showthr...hlight=dummies PS: the Aspic 75 is a good choice for average basses: fast aiming, lightweight, yet accurate speargun. Go on with it!
