Dude, if you do find it invest in some heavy mono and a good set of crimpers and read Miles's awsome thread "Dummies guide to rigging a speargun". If you dont find it invest in some heavy mono and a good set of crimpers and read Miles's awsome thread "Dummies guide to rigging a speargun".

It's time to retire the Ol' Nemrod. If it has sentimental value (like my Ultimate Oil Rig gun), restore it and hang it up on your wall.
I am sure most here would agree with me that it may be best for you to purchase a more modern gun that matches you current budget and hunting needs. Modern shafts are readily available for purchase should you ever bend or lose one again. In the mean time, keep an eye on ebay for any old Nemrod products if you like, and you may get lucky! Jim |

I agree with Jim. Not because I think he's right, but because it's good for him to have people agree with him. Though it does happen that he's right.
Actually - you could probably get a spear for that gun www.spearboard.com But really and truly you don't know what kind of shape the trigger mech is in. Probably the handle and muzzle attachments are loose etc. etc. You might end up with something dangerous. |
