my new C4 Mr Carbon has arrived !!!!

hey all,
after 2 weeks of impatience its finally here, the new C4 mr carbon 104... i will test it next week and let you know, but to make some initial observations:
1- It looks awesome
2 - Its extremely light..
3 - Its about 7 cm longer than an omer or cressi 100
4- the barrel is very cool, i cant wait to try side tracking
5 - The reel has these "brakes" on the sides they work like as pring, so as to prevent you placing your hands to slow it down as the line spools, it does that for you.
6 - there is a removable loading pin in the middle of the barrel to aid in loading on two steps.
7 - there is no shaft track, im sure we were all fooled by the photos, but thats allright, i must say i have a track on all my guns, and really didnt feel the added benefit that much, besides C$ always believe that less friction = more accuracy and power, we''ll have to test that..

8 - Trigger mechanism was a bit strange not like most euros, i tried to load a spear inside and loadin was fine, I didnt put any rubbers ye, just testing the trigger, it took me a lot of time to pull that shaft back out, which i felt strannge, but i guess thats how it works..

9 - line release is also non conventional, a bit like the abbelan woodies, but very cool nonthelss
10 - No manual

anyway ill test it next week and give you guys a full review...

Okay, you got me, I too can't wait to see your C4 Mr. Carbon this weekend.........I must say you are a true gun collector....there must be a museam somewhere in you basement for spearguns.....or am I missing something...)

i was definitely up at 4:55, its not like me i normally sleep early, but i had some friends over for dinner last night, and you know how ramadan is , towards the end of the evening, the speargun arrived, one of my friends was bringing it back from europe and he landed at 2 am. everyone left at like 3:30 and then the funs started i couldnt just leave it there in the box until morning can i about being a collector, i try my best, but my collection is very small compared to some of the members here, miles for example has over 15 guns i think , i just have 7 , who knows maybe the 8th is on the way see you this next week

Marwan, I just receioved my Rabitech Stealth Carbon 110 cm, 16x 2 bands....I think catching anything less than 5 kg will be a waste of money.
The gun is a peice of art...I did not try it yet but it is awsome.....very high quality, if I may add.

I'm leaving on Monday...staying till Saturday.....will see you there a lot.
Don't forget lunch at Marina...bring the family.

so i can see that louis convinced you wih the double band setup rabitechs are great, i have one myself, a 120 Carbon Apex with single 20mm band, they are top notch guns
