Speargun Question

After reading a thread relating to gun safety, i.e trigger mechanisms. It has got me thinking about my gun.. Its a cressi sub(not sure on the name as its in the shed), roughly 6-7 years old. only been used 2 or 3 times..Question is, do you think it would be worth taking it down the shop for someone just to give it a check over?

Re: Speargun Question

Absolutely! At the very least they will have to replace the rubber bands.

Can’t do any harm mate.
The last thing you want is some of this when you go to load it.

Re: Speargun Question

I would get it checked out for sure. Who knows what may have taken up residence in the time it was put away. As with all things mechanical, spearguns require maintenance & upkeep. If your car was sitting around unused for 6 - 7 years, you wouldn't expect to jump right in & start it up.
