why not try the DB shop (scubastore) they sometimes stock the omer america spear..
subprof also stock seatec spears in that thickness...

Are you wanting it for an enclosed track? I think your best bet is the trygons if so. Check out Kostis's shop in sunny Greece, top service just like apnea

Is there a decent welding shop on the island? They could TIG weld a couple onto an existing shaft for a fiver, just like Riffe do

I dont think it is as simple as that? I think you need to weld the tags before the spear is heat tempered in an oven, the weld would otherwise become a weak point.
But you are right about the Trygons spear being designed for enclosed tracks as some of the other makes are not.

I think Bleutec (?) make some as well, a little cheaper than the Trygons.

I had a couple of low profile fins welded onto an Imersion shaft and that was good as was. It eventually bent but in the middle and on the flopper drilling after a major rock strike, the welded area was still good. I had the welder just quench the hot end after 30 seconds. Worth a go if only to test the gun.

Why do you guys like such thin shafts? How long do they last you before they get bent up? My main dive buddy uses a euro gun with a 6 or 6.5 mm shaft and he has gone through three of them in half the time I've been using the same 9/32" shaft with a threaded tip and no problems. It seems they don't take being shot into caves or rocks too well and that's where most of our fish live. Are you shooting mostly freeswimming fish? Are thicker shafts uncommon in europe? Just curious

The smaller shafts fly straight & fast without needing to much power or giving to much recoil, yes mainly free swimmers. 9/32 = about 7mm, we use 7mm on twin band guns quite a lot but virtually all euroguns work best with a flexible 6.5mm & a single band.

Only sells the 6.75, as it happens I now realise the riffe spears are not any good for my purpose because the fins are to short!

I dont think so as they also look like mini fins designed to go though an standard muzzle I need big fins to match an enclosed track.

You need room to drill a hole (or have a hole) in them for the mono.
