I don't know but I am surprised nobody replied yet. You could try contacting the distributer (Florida Freedivers in the USA last time I looked) or railgun specialists Sumora, or RA direct via their website Rob Allen spearguns, railguns and other spearfishing and freediving accessories.
I normally find heat helps free stuck things (as the longer external part usually expands faster than the internal part). Maybe soak the joint with warm water after removing the barrel screw? It might also help dissolve any salt that might be present. You are dealing with polymers, so I wouldn't apply too much heat. Why remove the barrel though? I got it... it had a silver pin through it.. then 2 little black piece on each side that stuck in as well and I basically had to dig them (pry) them out with a pocket knife then it slid right off. I took it off to insert a little plastic tube so it would give more support when i screwed the reel into the barrel. If anyone needs help with this let me know. The newest RA carbons off the line just have to simple screw on both side Rob said
Thanks for the reply. Anyone need help with this same problem let me know |
