I don't know if many of you have tried different whistles attached to your buoys. I have one that came with an old life jacket and the one and only time I ever tried to use it produced a diabolical squawk that could be heard from god 3 metres away.
So to the point, what whistles do you recommend for tying to a float for emergency use?

the one i use is called a Storm whistle...theyre quite popular and good..
