I am a member of PETA(people eating tasty animals), I watched some guys clean the beach one time, found nemo when he was lost(then ate him), and even read about a save the rainforrest protest in the paper  Oh yeah...why do you use those big words...phil...philan..uh..Dr. Phil? You know some of us are from the south!As for sharks, the stocks of many species are in jepardy. They indeed are slow growing, produce few offspring, and will never invoke the same warm fuzzies a panda will thereby earning its right as a species to be saved. For the most part I try not to harvest shark except when on a hook and line charter but then we are only allowed 3 per boat(large coastals-usually blacktips) and its hard to convince someone paying 1,000 for a fishing trip to throw back a 100# good tasting fish  Just being aware of what species are in your area and their status will make a difference.

everybody is entitled to give their opinion BUT it should be done in a respectful manner and not by sending hate male and bad karma like Mishu did! I have nothing agains you mishu! but if you talk to people in a respectful manner you'll persuade them much better than by cursing and dissing them!!!

I'm new to this forum and i have to say one thing is great about this. And there's one thing we all have to remember. We may all be from different countries and backgrounds.... but we're here because we have one thing that makes us all the same, sorta family if you will. We love to dive underwater on a single breath of air, and catch our own food the challenging way. And no matter our political or religous opinions....... I would gladly do that with anyone in here...
Were all just humans. (who love to spear fish underwater)

If I ever opened a trampoline store, I don't think I'd call it Trampo-Land, because you might think it was a store for tramps, which is not the inpression we are trying to convey with our store. On the other hand, we would not prohibit tramps from browsing, or testing the trampolines, unless a tramp's gyrations seemed to be getting out of control.

If I ever opened a trampoline store, I don't think I'd call it Trampo-Land, because you might think it was a store for tramps, which is not the inpression we are trying to convey with our store. On the other hand, we would not prohibit tramps from browsing, or testing the trampolines, unless a tramp's gyrations seemed to be getting out of control.

The majority of the posters on this site are seemingly good people but you occasionally run into the narrow-minded person who's opinion is "the truth"...you see it most when someone spears a fish on scuba...some dumb ass freediver has to open his mouth and call it cheating...such a waste of typing. WoW..... I"m just reading that post again that i made now and i realized something... I must have been pretty liqoured up. I mean wow... I'm almost proud and ashamed at the same time... wow.. lol.
Thanks Stretch armsrong, Your right about us being tree hugging hippies. But were also walking hippocrates (Californians) we have the whole things should be how we want.. not what we do philosophy. But most of us are confrontational, short tempered and arrogant.. hehehe... We do hate polution and are the most health conciencious though... However we live in on eof the most polluted cities in the world (Los Angeles)... go figure. lol.

Thresher can be great eating, but shark populations are on the decline, and I would never keep one...

for as its haram  salfuh called the morenas as far as i know and i am familliar with the arab great colorfull kitchen ... any way it will be interesting to taste shark, so called in arabic "Karsh" eyal

wow - this thread reminds me of 5th grade recess
 I;ve eaten mako abd shovelnose (guitar fish). the mako was fantastic the shovel nose tasted like ass. might have to try some thresher, if I can find it....
