Sometimes i see some Muraena while spearing.
i sometimes approaching 2-3 meters. one of my friend said daytime she can't see anything!!! only nights she can see ..true or not? i need some help.... |

No they are not blind. To test empiric spear one and wawe your finger infront of its mouth...
But they proberly hunt more with other senses than their vision eacuse they hunt at night. I presume they smell very well |

Hi Sedate!
If you try to shoot a murray (I think it`s the same than muruena?),dont do it with a large one because they are quite strong and try to swimm back into a hole with the spear quick after you shot them. Also (in case you want to eat them) the bigones can be poisenous by ciguatera a venom that you can`t taste when you eat that fish! Good luck...glassfish |

i dont wanna shoot cos'i am afraid of them..i sometimes be uncomfortable around 10-15 m while i am at agashon..thinkin' one will come and get attack behind the fishes(i mean on my fishing line)..sometimes comin' to my dreams.... |
