Target Practice

Ive decided i need to do some target practice before the season gets underway here in southern california. i built a target out of pvc pipe, fish nets, neoprene, weights and flotation....heres the hard part: the water here in sd is blue green has reasonably strong currents and the viz is usually low (15 ft) to very low (five feet) during winter algal blooms. i dont own a large pool and no one i know seems to want me to fire a 5 band 66 inch gun in their home pool (joking, i havent asked). id appreciate some advice from anyone that lives in the san diego or southern california area that knows of a coastal spot (or even a very large pool that i could rent a space from) or people all around the world that have devised solutions in the face of similar predicaments. thanks, Phil
