Now that Sam and Saltfree have made the announcement, I figured that it was high time that I registered on DeeperBlue, instead of lurking around in the background as a guest!

So, I just thought I'd say hi and also say a HUGE thanks to Sam & Saltfree, DeeperBlue, Suunto and Specialfins for giving me an opening into the world of freediving!

Hope to get to know you all a little over the next few months.

Hi Mandy, welcome to DB! I was reading the article about you.

I am also a UK freediver. I did consider entering the Mermaid challenge, but I decided not to because I don't feel confident enough in the water.
