Hey all,
Sorry I'm way off the mark here for putting a posting like this here but i'm trying to reach out to as many pple as I can. In this community of marine and nature lovers, perhaps I can find some people who might feel something towards this topic and put their names to a petition. In Singapore and many parts of Asia, crimes towards animals are often semi-condoned with ridiculously light sentencing. This story is about a repeat offender who has showed obvious mentally-disturbed behavior. Despite recommendations by professional psychiatrist, the jury has decided on a light penalty which has sent the offender back on the streets and more crimes have continued. PLease take a few seconds to read this and put your name to it. I am trying to get some international attention on this matter as there are too many apathetic people around. I'm not one who sends mass mails or participates in stuff like that, but I feel really strongly about this. Ill sign this one happily, people like this should be locked in the funny farm for a very long time and if that doesnt get the message through, hows about we do a few of these things to him, or we could always drop him on a certain island in south africa
