Hey there you all,
I am an Aussie - and a chic! I love the water and love diving and boats, and have only just started spear diving. It is great!! I love it and want to learn more and more about under water!! I live in Port Douglas QLD on the edge of the Great Barrier reef. We have a pretty good boat and get out there as much as we can, but the burdons of regular life often interfere, such as monday mornings!! I speared my first fish on the weekend and have no idea what it is, but I chased it, it fought a hell of a fight - but I is just a girl! So if you experts can tell me what it is - and maybe give me some tips, I really want some new fins and don't have a clue what to get . Nice to meet you all, g'day, bonza, struth and all that!!! Free Spirit

Welcome from the deep of my heart: girls always bring joy of life in a fishermen's forum. Stay with us, and dont' miss the next Deeper Blue bikini pic contest!
--- On the serious side (but I was serious also above), I too didn't know what fish it was when I speared my first one, 18 years ago. But I enjoyed it, so I soon managed to get some knowledge about the species of my waters: those who are good to eat, those who are legal, those who are protected. Eating your own fish and feeling "environment friendly" will increase your enjoyment of this exciting sport. -PS: I second the "see more of you" thing.
