First of all, thanx for the warm welcom into the deeper blue community!!! I have been in love with everything about the ocean since before I can remember,swimming, boarding, fishing...... all of it! About one year ago one of my close friends showed me what it looks like under the suface.... WOW! I could'nt believe I havent tried it before. One week after that I took a job in Bahrein, did some snorkeling and it just got worse. Ive been infected - a realy cool kinda infection. Now, every time I see water, I have to see what it looks like through a mask. As I said, I am an avid angler and have wanted to take up spearfishing for quite some time. Resently took a job in Kuwait and I'm hoping to meet up with someone that can help me get into this amazing sport. If anyone has been to Kuwait they will no you need something to keep yourself busy.

Thanx folfs.
I'm leaving the gulf for vacation, back to cape town SA, and was thinking about buying a gun to bring back. If anybody could suggest a good gun for use on the reefs here or even shed some light on kinds of fish I might run(swim)into in the persian gulf, I would realy be greatfull.
