Hi guys,
I'm a beginning freediver and wanted to introduce myself. I've been certified in scuba diving, but wanted to overcome the limits of that sport, and give freediving/spearfishing a try. I've also been an athlete my entire life, so I wanted to get involved in FD because it's a challenge. My training regimen at the moment is mostly poolwork. My static apnea is up to 2 minutes (relatively pitiful, I know), and I can get up to a minute while swimming. EDIT: Updated PB time. And a picture to give a name to a face Last edited by RydDragyn; December 29th, 2006 at 20:57. |

Welcome to deeperblue! Find a buddy in your area, hopefully if you are doing pool training you already have one. Enjoy, there is a wealth of information here at your fingertips, and a comminuty of very friendly people.

Welcome to deeper blue. this place was huge and overwhelming when I first got here. Once you look around for a while and make some buddies it is awsome. Hope you have safe and happy training.
