Hey all, am new to the sport and am wondering if there is anyone around who wud be willing to help a newbie out, maybe let then tag along

Hi Fishyone, not living there myself anymore, but loads of guys around. Stop off at Freedivers, the spearfishing and freediving shop. Speargun manufacturers. they are next to Kings Park by the Stables and they will get you on track.
My old haunt was Westbrook Beach. CLICK HERE
Some cool guys there to offer advice in the mornings.

Thanks everyone, went out on sunday and got my first fish a 3kg kingie. Pretty spooky on u're own in not so great vis

I know, don't dive alone in bad vis, but i really wanted to jst go out and have a look around. the vis seems to be pretty bad everywhere at the mo....hopefully it'll clear up pretty soon
