Smile Hello all

Hello my name is Andrew and I have just started Spear fishiing, I have been surfing for many years and recently recieved an excelent 30th birthday gift of everthing I need to get started. I had a bash this weekend just to get used to the water, mask snorkel, weight belt and so on but i am off to abersoch this weekend to have another go so fingers crossed I may see something. I understand that this sport relies on being a little secretive but anyone got any advice for a newbee off up to north wales?

Re: Hello all

Cool stuff and happy hunting to you. If its a big knife you mite want to consider getting one thats of smaller and lower profile as big knives tend to stick out to much and get snagged at awkward times. But you could also wear the knife on the inside of the leg as this will reduce the risk of snagging and losing it as a big un can come in handy from time to time when you have to free yourself
