Hello from Kwajalein

i just got into spearfishing because i recently moved to the islands of the Marshall islands if anyone has any spearfishing tips for me id love to hear them

i have always wanted to visit the Marshall Islands. How did you manage to get a job out there?? Tips please

Welcome to DB anyway. Is Sharks Pass still full of crazy Grey Reef sharks? Can you tell us something about the diving?

yes the pass is still full of those oh so fun sharks, and the diving here is awsome on a good day the visablitly can get up to 200ft plus, the water almost always at a constant temp of 75 degrees plus and once down to about 30 ft it gets a bit colder of corse. but there always is something to see many wrecks from WW2 on many occasions there is sightings of whales, dolfins and many other mammals of the sea

The rainbow runners and the Mahi on the far right were caught via trolling the 3 Mahi in the middle are all caught by me spearfishing.

Scuba diving kwaj more pictres about diving there and bunch of other stuff!

I spent some time in Palau back in '79. I'm sure things have changed, but I still think you are in the most beautiful dive area in the world. One day I would like to return. I'll second the picture request.

we have all kinds of wrecks, the German ship the print Eugen (sp?) from the bikini atoll nuclear test, plenty of planes (nose down, on belly, and more) barges, a japanese ship that has a toilet bowl on top, and so much more. i just bought an cheap point and shoot camera with a underwater houseing ill post up some pictures as soon as i get the camera in

my father also spent some time there when he was in the peace core, he went back recently and was angered how much it has turned into a tourist attraction.
