Hi there, I am based in Simons Town in the Western Cape - sort of too far south to be Cape Town. I'm VERY new in this here diving thing, but am hoping to make headway in teh near future, especially one the weather improves - we have had some god-awful days over the last few weekends. Oneof these days I will join a club, but for now, it remains just an ad-hoc dive thing wth friends. Nice to have access to the web though with so much info and experience at han!

Welcome to the forums from one of the CT members, btw in my book Simonstown qualifies as CT as youll be amazed at the regular distances you travel to go diving. Lenny (also a member here) is quite close to you if Im not mistaken. What type of diving do you do?
