New to spearfishing from Miami

Hello

About 1 month ago I went for the first time spearfishing and I liked the sport. The folowing day I purchased a speargun (Mares 1100 Cyrano Pneumatic Speargun)and the rest of the freediving gear. If anyone can give me tips and adivce on the how to spearfish better I would appriciate it. One more thing I can't even load my gun its to hard can anyone show me some techniques on how to do it.

Thank you
Carlos

Welcome to the site!

I wish I could help, but loading a 110cm pnumo isn't going to be easy any way you try it

Re: New to spearfishing from Miami

we've been discussing in this thread:
http://forums.deeperblue.net/pnumati...ghlight=martyn
basically: gun butt on your foot, left hand on the muzzle, right hand pulls down the shaft.
Welcome to the dark side...

Carlos, I have a great idea for you! Why not get the training in freediving that will keep you alive to enjoy your new-found hobby for many years to come? I don't want to read about you in the Herald as just another crazy freediver fatality.
