Re: Hi

Hi Steve welcome to db.
I am sure your stories will be great (we love the shark ones) & you will have some South African company on board as we have quite a few active SA members.

Thumbs up Re: Hi

Hey there, thanks for the welcome.
Since my son is in Cape Town for his holidays, I decided to take him diving for some crayfish. I thought of going to lamberts bay but decided on going to Pringle bay instead. I think I will make the long trip on Monday. The dive today was good; the weather was hot about 32°C and the water warm. I caught my first 2 crayfish quick and about 25 meters from shore, and then ventured deeper and further into the kelp. After I had caught about 6 crayfish I noticed that my crayfish bag was a bit light, and to my amazement I found that the elastic had perished and the buggers had climbed out. I then decided to head back, on the way I managed to collect my quota of 4 crayfish, only this time I had to struggle with them in my hands, difficult but successful. Sunday I will buy a new crayfish bag. I think I will go do some wake boarding tomorrow at Misverstand. Cheers for now
