Hi everyone,
I just wanted to write a quick note about my weekend with the DeepBlue team., I will write more over the weekend. My name is Wendy. I am from the UK, 50 years old and have just had my first Freediving experience in the SETT (Submarine Escape Training Tank) at Gosport. Hampshire, UK. with Emma Farrell & Stephan Whelan. What a wonderful experience but unfortunately I had equalisation problems for the whole weekend and could only manage to get to just over 6 metres. I hope I can return and better this as the water clarity and temperature were perfect and I really want to experience 15 metres plus. Thank you Stephan for a great weekend and a lovely meal (Curry) with about eight great guys. Both Kevin (my Husband) and I enjoyed the weekend very much. Love, Wendy. (Aquablonde) |

Hello, welcome to Deeperblue! Many of the members have gone diving in the SETT. I imagine you find diving to be quite addictive now? Glad to have you on the forums, and I hope your ears behave better next time

Welcome to DB Wendy I hope you enjoy your stay.
I see you’ve got off to a good start with the lovely Emma and our own Over Lord of the Forums Sir Stephan, don’t worry to much about the ears as I’m sure that with practice it will all come good. |

Welcome to the site Wendy. I'm being tempted to pay a visit to the SETT myself.
