Hey you all, I just joined up and I'm really excited about all the endless info on this site. I'm at school in Annapolis, relocated from the Tampa Bay area. Since middle school I've been spearing on tanks and have done some shallow water stuff in the keys and Bahamas...but I want more! This past weekend I got to go home and was just messing around, and I made it to 40 feet which I was pretty happy with! I didn't have anyone there who really knew what they were doing...including me...so I didn't push it. I'm really hoping to find some people in the DC/Baltimore area to show me around, but if not there are plenty of workouts on here I can do in the pool. Thanks for all the experienced guys and gals for taking the time to teach the starters, it's really encouraging. Can't wait to go deeper!

this site is amazing...i've absorbing as much info as i can in the past couple days and its pretty incredible...but i'm not sure how much it'll help the grades haha! oh well

Take it from me mate, put school first, there will be plenty of time left for deeperblue and diving. Qualifications usually mean more cash which in turn means more diving
