Hello DB reraders,
I've just move to Sheffield from Cyprus where I took up spearfishing. I am new to the sport, and have been diving alone due to the lack of buddies. I kept it as safe as possible diving mainly 6-10 mtrs and ensuring I surfaced without experiencing contractions. I am concious that no matter how safe you play it things can always go wrong. Out there in Cyprus there are very few fish due to overfishing, but the vis is spot on. I mainly went after the sea bream and sea bass. I'm looking for info on where to go in either the North Wales area or in the region anywhere between Bridlington and Skegness. So if you can point me in the right direction, and/or are heading out to those areas and don't mind a newbee tagging along, give me a shout  Take it easy.

Welcome to deeperblue! I think there is a couple of spearo members in Sheffield that you could hook up with. Check out the north wales thread too, your more than welcome to join in with us up here
