Excellent video. I think I shortly spotted myself in the public too Fred definitely and desperately needs to use a neckweight. He will then easily add several more meters to his record distances.

You won't see me properly there. It is during the ceremony, in the crowd - I only spotted it because I knew where I was, and recognized colleagues from my club standing nearby

les images sous marine ont été faites à l'entrainement à montpellier,fred n'est pas droit sur les images,car c'était juste un entrainement ludique pas une performance ni meme un entrainement serieux actuellement il n'utilise pas de tour du coup car sa technique de nage lui evite d'utiliser ce lest

Well, you write that Fred does not use any neck-weight because his technique allows him swimming without it, and that the footage where he is not horizontal, is from training, and not the actual performance. However, I saw Fred quite well during the competition, and it is apparent that he does need the weight. Of course, you can (and you have to) compensate for it with the style, but you waste energy. You can also compensate with swimming on empty lungs, but that's not Fred's case either.
