Yes indeed

Mamba and Abellan Denton are the culprits of these sniper assaults

Re: Fishing the Straits

Man, I can smell that fish! Sop far I haven't seen any dentex, and the other day saw lots of dorada which kept just out of range while the sargos were catchable. Both my aspettos and deeper dives are improving but have a bit of a reverse block that hurt my ear and am now a week out of the water on doctors orders. Perhaps doing 34 meter variable and 29 m constant weight dives, (new depths for me) and the next day spending nearly 6 hours in the water with more than 100 dives logged (all shallow water: 2-8 meters) forced my eardrum a bit.

Re: Fishing the Straits

Well worth the waiting, guys!!! Awesome fish!
Memo, what is the third fish from the bottom on your second pic? Looks like sea bass, but with some strange black dots…
Shane, are there any videos that come with these monster dentex?

Dobs,

That is a Dicentrarchus puctatus (Spotted Bass)

We call them "BAILA"

This is my best dentex video so far:

Re: Fishing the Straits

I've been lurking for over a year here and i've just started spearing over here in Ireland.
I'd just like to say the photos and vids you 2 guys have posted are inspirational!
Those Dentex look beautiful-maybe someday they'll make their way over here...

HAIL TO THE KINGS!
