Had a good 3 hours with Murat, water smooth and vis about 15m, i got this Grouper in 11m weight 6kilo 754g. confirmed weigh in by Hurdeniz fish suppliers. Murat got 2 nice fish, cant confirm species as i had to leave in a hurry when we got out.
Grouper taken with Black Master WITHOUT the F...ing Reel, so it gave me some problems, A good Morning out.

Haven't heard much from Murat lately, is he ok?

Hi Foxfish, Murat is fine, we have been hunting together a few times now. I spotted the fish on a patch of dead seagrass, and shot him under a overhandg covered in seagrass.there were numerous caves around and almost had another the same size.

I didn't know that Murat is your official buddy. There mustn't be much fish left with you two on the prowl. But the terrain you describe with high weed and many caves is indeed the biggest fun to hunt at.
Is it a place for sargos?

Hi Spaghetti, yes and the 2 that Murat shot were indeed sargoz, nice ones too, i only saw him shoot the one, he has lungs like a fish, spends hours on the bottom prowling around. I wish i had the stamina that guy has, but at 45 i cant complain LOL.
