Hey Fergus..............

Just read your item on the forum, would be interested in getting AIDA Ireland up and running, and meeting other freedivers in Ireland, we seem to be few and far between. How often do you get over to Chepstow? and are you headin over for the Christamas fancy dress in Jan?

Hey Fergus...

Its Brian here,I met you at the Double Dip....hope you are well and getting some freediving in before the winter sets in!
I was just wondering would you be interested in setting up AIDA Ireland with me...and if you know of any other Irish lads that would be interested in joining....be good to hear your thoughts. I'm thinking of attending the World Championships next year...and maybe we could get a team out in 2010!

I'm off down to Chepstow this weekend with the guys so hopefully the weather holds up!
Take it easy and hopefully talk to you soon....

the hornet here, thanks Fergus for your welcome. I am based in the midlands, I like to do my hunting in South Mayo & Connemara , I prefer to hunt big fish & usually target big Pollock or any species thats a good challenge. Some years ago I speared a big fish I think it was a Tuna, about 3 & half feet & 40pounds or so. Despite a direct hit he put up a good fight which gave me no end of pleasure for about 30 minutes or so, when I tired him out & finished him off . the reason I dont know what the species was is because within minutes of landing him on shore I had him gutted & ready for the freezer,So far this was the highlight of my spearfishing,
