Found you. How is it going there? Back on the ship since 24July. It's busy. Cruise logistics. Deploying/recovering instruments all day, looking at wire angles the water, fixing broken systems in between. The water looks good out here though. 26.2ºC at 8m, at least 30m of visibility.
Captain doesn't allow swim calls (sigh), but we do have an inflatable kiddie pool (max depth 15cm). Soon as I get a buddy here, will try some statics.
I just read this spearo story - and it reminded me of all the years you have spent diving/spearing fish. You may actually have already heard of this story - but it was such a good story that I want to send you the link.
