Even if it is only good for dynamic, I am glad to hear one of us is getting to be in the water regularly - and that you are never short of dive buddies.
Much of the day here on the ship is spent judging sea state, deploying/recovering instruments and reporting wire angle over the VHF. The water has gotten a little choppy but still looks good. 26.2ºC at 8m, at least 30m of visibility. A translucent sapphire blue.
Captain doesn't allow swim calls (sigh), but we do have an inflatable kiddie pool (max depth 18cm) and an unlimited supply of "uncontaminated scientific seawater." Soon as I get a buddy here, will try some statics.
