- Life happens -> decide to try hang-gliding -> needed to run with 50lb weight on back -> started running to train for foot launch -> addicted to runner's high -> wanted to aim for marathon -> saw competing triathletes while running usual circuit -> wanted to tri -> broke foot -> bad bones -> MDs yell, prohibit running -> MDs prescribe "aqua jogging" -> where's the glory in that? -> friend suggests scuba -> fascinated by cave diving and wreck penetration -> had to move cross country -> hate moving & packing, vow to get rid of all my stuff and live like a hermit -> scuba = a lot of stuff - neat stuff - but too much stuff for me -> freediving ambition -> joined DB -> :-)
