Hi Spaghetti, Unfortunately existing UK legislation already uses the phrase "projectile" to prevent spearfishing in freshwater, and for game fish at sea and to block the sale of speared fish. So its use in the proposed EU ban is not as obscure as it might initially appear. KWM, the BSA secretary, also confirmed this intention with DEFRA (and their attention to "tighten restrictions on all recreational fishing"!!!). Our government is the biggest threat to our freedom, they are the enemy within.

No it's not online bought, but from a real life shop. I was just waiting for a special offer to buy with a good deal. Finally picked the XXV Gold 90 for 125 euro. The other candidates where HF2 and Cressi Geronimo (both very good looking spearguns too)
For the XXV 100 centimeters question, it's such a complicated subject to discuss, involving UW ballistics and hunting techniques. I promise I'll make up my mind with some thoughts later today and post in the XXV thread.
BTW: congrats for the mullets. I'm happy that you've found the good tune with your new guitar.

Hi Spaghetti,
Glad to hear you got a 90cm XXV Gold again -- order has been restored to the Universe. It just didn't seem right you not having one anymore. I'm seriously thinking of getting one later in the year, did you gets yours on-line? BTW Have you heard of anyone using a 100 -- I can't help thinking folk might be missing out on something remarkable there (it's supposed to be stiffer than a 28mm aliminium tube) - is the concern strength?
