I've been on the defensive these past few weeks trying to undue some of the damage created from some of the unnecessary dialog over the Fish Lake Fiasco last October. From this date forward we will always have to make sure ALL of the required permits, COR's etc. have been secured before venturing on to or into Utah lakes and reservoirs. Otherwise Law Enforcement is going to be right down our necks. If you bring a boat into Utah make damn shur it has been decontaminated for Mussels !!!!! Going to an Outdoor sports show the 5-6th of June and hope to spread some positive messages at that time. Would like to put a hundred spearos in Deer creek reservoir in mid June to see if we can remove a few tons of carp. Anyone interested?

Now, as far as me not posting, I do NOT understand the operations of these communication sites - I just know very little of my stuff gets read. I really need a good set of instructions. For the future - It just annoys me to get those messages that I haven't posted for XXXXXXXX number of days or weeks. I need guidance not criticism. Where do I download the instruction guide?

What is the general consensus of creating some spearwars on Burbot in Flaming Gorge Reservoir (northeastern Utah) this year? Burbot are an invasive critter, that were illegally planted in the tributary (Green River) upstream (Wyoming) of the reservoir. There are NO limits on the numbers you can harvest (more harvest the better). Season parameters – 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, Yes – underwater spearfishing with artificial lighting and it’s all legal in Flaming Gorge for Burbot only !!!! (no other species may be taken with artificial light) Burbot filet so easy it is ridiculous. Excellent tasting fried and taste like Lobster when boiled. Actually Burbot are often called poor mans lobster. I'd like to get some competitions going to persue these critters. Anyone interested?
