I know what you mean about the training. Much to my enjoyment, the program definitely evolved the way I am in the water too.

20ºC with only a 3mm suit. Hmm. This is good for mammalian diving reflex, but bad for my core body temperature. I know that must be warm water for Norway - but the thought of that temperature just freaks me out. You truly are a polar bear.

Thank you for the invitation to dive. I hope to be back in Europe one day. Will begin shopping for my 12mm suit now. heh. No seriously - given my ultra-low tolerance for cold, what thickness suit would you recommend? Maybe I have to move to Thailand or something. haha

I will be moving off the ship, and living/working in Honolulu for the months of October, November and December. Looking forward to that - because it means I'll have a chance to be in the water every day again. If you and your family, for some odd reason begin to crave waters of the Pacific - I hope you will feel welcome here too.

Hello Tobin!

I have not yet soaked up all the wonderful impressions, training and achievements made on the wonderful Island! This was a vacation i will always remember.
It was also good to come home to my wife and son - as always. Home sweet home
It is actually around 20 celcius in my local waters now, so i am able to use my 3mm suit, and dive 2-3 times a week!.... The course has really made me a better diver, and I now act as an "instructor" towards my buddy, which could not attend the course.
So - If you should ever suddenly be in Norway and would like to dive - Call me!
