will give you some info tonight, i wouldnt dive in Abu Dhabi, too shallow, not much to see, but would definitely do a trip up to the Musandam (Oman).

Hi there island sands. My wife and i are taking a short break to abu dhabi, and wanted to find out a bit more about the diving scene over there, as it is our first trip to the UAE. We both scuba but I am more of a freediver/ spearo, even though I realise that spearing is a big no-no over there.So what can we expect to pay for a scuba trip and is freediving best done off boats or are there good spots reachable from a shore dive.We arrive morning of wed. 28th and leave again sunday morning. A bit short to say the least but we are really excited about visiting the UAE, and getting a real good rest.
