But I also rinse the monofin after use in the pool. I think this is the best way to keep my baby chlorinedamage-free. Anyway, I am happy your problem got solved. |

now that is a very tranquil photo, nice to see it right now when stress out in the office!
I have a Leaderfin Hyper for a year now. I would say excellent customer service when i purchased the fin, just that they didnt not take credit card at the time and i had to transfer money to their account purely on trust... The fin was ready in two weeks and it's a great piece of work just that i the pockets are not suitable for my feet "design". Unless i find a solution to somehow modify the foot pockets, i will have ti sell it to somebody with narrower feet... serge |

i thought i was being overly protective, but if that helps prolong the life of my fin then i'll do it. also, i got an email from ivan today saying my logo is finally on its way.. let's cross our fingers.. but i do love my fin. -diva

Guys,
I am really sorry for the people that had problems contacting us here in USA. We have been having some communications problems with Estonia, and in must of the cases did not have any clue that something wrong was happening. So we are taking all the responsibility for those delays and misunderstandings. We already fixed the main problem with our emails and the firewall protection that was causing them. Believe that our goal is to offer you a first class customer service. I will provide by email, my personal mobile number for those of you that want to contact me for any reason. Feel free to email me at ivan@freediveforlife.com Thanks Ivan

Hi Demasoni
The same thing happened to my Leaderfin freediving monofin. I had the same madel as yours and the blade also wore through where yours is on the back aspect below the foot plate. Maksim at Leaderfins was fantastic and even sent me a replacement fin (without even waiting for me to send mine back!). I cannot speak highly enough about their service. So I would suggest contacting them directly through the Leaderfins web page. Cheers Gooch

I contacted Specialfins this week trying to get my blue, colored, monofin fixed. I offered to send them an extra pair of Sporasub pockets that I had lying around so they could replace the torn OMER's with them.
Their reply was that it would cost too much to cut the old foot pockets off and replace them with the new ones- even if I sent them the new ones to put on. They offered to sell me a new colored monofin at a discounted price. Since I already have a Specialfins carbon fiber monofin I decided I didn't need another blue one. I guess I'll just be really careful with my Carbon fiber one and when it breaks I will try something else. Any ideas what to do with a $455 (at today's conversion rate) monofin with a ripped foot pocket? BTW: My S.F. carbon fiber mono, with the Sporasub foot pockets, is my favorite fin to date- I just worry about its longevity. Jon
