Any review on this fin?

Is there any one had tried this dol-fin tail?
Dol-fin Tails, Inc. Be a dolphin, porpoise lane lines, strengthen entire body, dolphins love it.

Check out this old thread from 2006: sorta cute.. what do you guys think?
It is about the same fin

Also: this and several similar fins are listed in the Collection of Weird Fins

Re: Any review on this fin?

I don't think it would do much really. We don't have the physiology to use a "proper" mammalian fin. We need big, oversized paddle(s) to compliment our puny bi-pedal physiology.
Natural tail fins are the 'tip of the whip' on a fish or a whale. If you look at the tiny tail of a tuna and thought that the tail is the driving force, you'd wonder how it becomes one of the fastest things in the sea!
I'd be interested to hear if anyone owned one of these though.
Cheers,
Erik
