Hm.. come to think of it. My conference dates only start at 9 am.
What do You (or all You others, for that matter) think of early morning dives? I could be in Santa Cruz by 6, giving us plenty of time to watch the sun rise over us in the ocean.. hmm... |

Hi Richard,
Mornings in Santa Cruz might be foggy but also calmer with little wind. Evenings will tend to be sunny but more wind. As for me I cannot make morning on the 20th, but could probably do morning of the 21st instead of the evening dive on the 20th. I think you will have less dive time if you choose the morning. David |

okay, we'll make it the evening on the 20th then. That way we'll have time for dinner or a drink or something afterwards. What do You say?

The diving (just one session - I was there to work, after all) was great, but there exist few pictures. It was my first time in kelp and what a blast it was! Metridium turned out to be able to explain lots of stuff in and around the kelp there and the coolest thing were three otters that had decided to waste their time around us for a while. Man, they have a life! Very sweet and cuddly beasts they are and I'd have loved to bring one home! @Metridium: Again, thanks a lot for showing me around the place and all the explanations! I must have been about as much fun as a bag-o-beans afterwards... ![]() After the dive I was so tired that I could hardly talk or even think straight, so it must have been pure luck that got me home after heading for some really good post-water mexican.
