| Hi, just to let you all know, that I've found a simple, "SAFE" way to load your air gun.You won't believe how easy, & virtually "effortless", it is!. The part,s are readily available "off the shelf", & cost penny,s, & you don't have to be a "Rocket scientist" to make it, either. Now, I Know that most of you can load your gun OK, but if (like me) you have a very long one (I wished) stop it!, get serious Geoff....Sorry about that, as I was saying, if you have a long gun, there,s alway,s the danger of "Bending" the shaft, I know, I "Bent" mine last night, (The standard shaft that come,s with an ASSO, is, well, how can I put it?,... CRAP!).The beauty of this device, is, (A). It,s absolutely safe. (B). It,s Impossible to bend the shaft. (C). You can load with it as many time,s as you like, without your arm giving up. (D). You don't need to load on half power. (E). It can be used with "Mamba" type gun,s, still keeping the barrel, "Dry". (F). It,s very light, & not at all cumbersome. As soon as I have perfected the design, I will let you know, then, you can tell me what you think of it.Sound,s too good to be true?, just wait & see. PS. This is honestly my own idea, the principle, is used on tool,s, but I have never seen, or heard, of my application of it. Maybe, some one else "Has" thought of it, (Can't see why not, it,s so obvious) but I haven't "Nicked" their "idea".....You'll be amazed at this, try to "work out", what it is........Geoff. | Re: Eureka!. A simple device, to load your air gun. Hi all, GreekDiver,....Rrespect!. Covert, No, I just want to help you guy,s. Scubapro, I have a 135, & this device load,s it easy. Although not as quick as the "Normal" method, it's an awfully lot easier!, & after 5 to 6 load,s, my arm doesn't tire one bit!. One slight inconvenience though, to use this, you have to unscrew the spear head, push the loader down the shaft, load, then remove & replace the head. I've designed a version that doesn't require one to do this, (my one) but with respect, it may be too difficult for the average person to make. Although completely safe, I may not post this design on this "open" site, as I don't want any problem,s if some one hurt,s them selve,s when using it. I will, however, be happy to explain it to any one who e-mail,s me. No charge. Won't be long before it's ready,......Geoff...PS: I see no reason why this device could'nt load a gun with 60, yes, 60 BAR, but I hav'nt one to test it on.I think the gun would "EXPLOAD!" anyway.Come on, try to work out what it is. Purly machanical, no batt,s, or gas. Last edited by Geoff; September 27th, 2007 at 10:29. |

| Re: Eureka!. A simple device, to load your air gun. You'll kick your self when you see what it is, as I said before, the principle is used on numerous tool,s, you've probably got one in your own shed. With just a little work, you could quite easily make this your self. A clue, Carpenters use it, Plumbers use it, Tilers use it, Painters use it, Glazers use it, Builders use it, have I said enough?. |

| Re: Eureka!. A simple device, to load your air gun. ![]() good 'un!Geoff: some kind of clamp, sash o bar cramp with threaded end? To be honest, they don't make guns you can't load by hand, no one would buy them, so I can't see the need... but I love a bit of DIY, so post some pix, no one will blame you if they shoot their b..ls off. especially if you include that magical internet disclaimer... PS: Jonny: cool drawings! |
