Balkan Octopuss

A very old recipe told by elderly folks allround the Balkan peninsula...made best on open fire...


Ingredients:
1 mid-sized octopus
4kg potatoes
1kg carrots
1 small pig (around 15kg)
salt


How to do it:

We put the carrots, potatoes, octopus and some salt in the boiling water and cook it well. In the meanwhile we roast the piggy on the open fire barbecue.
When the pig is roasted and the octopus and the potatoes are done, we take the potatoes, carrots and the octopus out of the water, we serve the veggies as a side-dish and we throw the octopus to the cats so they dont bother us while we eat the pig....
