UK - New "Marine Bill"

Have any spearos been following/involved in the proposed new Marine Bill? Looks like the deadline for comment has already passed.

Defra, UK - Environmental Protection - Water - Marine

Heard a brief article on Radio 4 last week -- sounds like everbody is asking for a bill but they were incredibly vague about what is in it. There were no details at all in the article. However, as the conservationists & commericial fisherman they interviewed were happy to support it - sounds like it probably isn't going to be too radical (esp. in light of the recent "last minute" withdrawl of the proposed new 40cm minimum bass size limit). The RSPB are pushing this.
